Choose A Charity
Fundraising is at the heart of the Cardiff Half – with many runners choosing to raise money for good causes and over 100 official charities associated with the event. Running for a good cause will give a huge boost to the satisfaction you’ll feel on finishing the race – and keep you motivated during your training.
Once general entries in the race have sold out, only the remaining spaces reserved via our official charities will be available if you are looking to gain an entry to take part.
Many will have free or discounted rate spaces available, just get in touch with them for more details. They can give you official sponsorship forms, details on how you can fundraise with Enthuse and offer specialist help and support.
Visit our Fundraising Hub to set up your fundraising page, top tips and creative fundraising ideas.
2025 registration is now closed. See our 2026 Charity Partners below – more will be added when registration opens.

When a child’s life will be short, Tŷ Hafan will walk alongside their family every step of the way – through life, death and beyond.
Tŷ Hafan’s ambition is that when a child’s life will be short, no family in Wales should have to live it on their own. When every day could be their child’s last, families should be making memories together instead of facing each one with dread.
