We’re All In: The Power of Community at the OYSHO Cardiff Half Marathon
The OYSHO Cardiff Half Marathon is more than a race – it’s a celebration of community and connection. With our “We’re all in!” campaign, we’re shining a light on the strength we find in running together, and the bonds that will carry us to the finish line on Sunday 5 October.
Running has always been about more than just miles. Across Cardiff, Wales, and beyond, running clubs and communities are growing at a remarkable pace, proving that the true joy of running lies not only in personal achievement, but in shared experiences.
On training runs and group sessions, friendships are built, encouragement is shared, and a sense of belonging blossoms. Together, runners find motivation and strength through every step. That finish line is not just a personal triumph, but a collective celebration.
On OYSHO Cardiff Half day, that spirit will come alive as 27,500 runners come together, united by a shared goal. Whether running for fitness, fun or a cause close to their heart, every finisher will be a part of something bigger.
This year, title and technical sponsor OYSHO is proud to celebrate that unity. Through their digital community and global network of running clubs, OYSHO continues to connect people through sport, and to mark this year’s Cardiff Half, they’ve designed a race t-shirt that will be a symbol of togetherness, worn proudly on race day and beyond, showing that together, we can go further.
We’re excited to announce that for the first time, runners will be able to collect their official race t-shirt before the event. This means that when thousands take to the streets of Cardiff, the sight of matching shirts will transform the city into a living symbol of unity – one community, moving as one.
For those unable to collect early, t-shirts will still be available at the finish line, marking every achievement in the same shared spirit. An extended weekend programme will give those wishing to collect pre-race a chance to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy live music, entertainment, yoga sessions and the latest gear from partners including OYSHO on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th October, from the Event Village at Cardiff City Hall Lawns.
Stay tuned as we celebrate the inspiring stories of those taking part, the groups training together and reveal the official OYSHO race t-shirt design.
This year, more than ever – we’re all in.
